Detailed Product Description
Transcranial Doppler (TCD) system non-invasively measures intracranial blood flow velocities using pulse echo ultrasonic probe. Based upon spectrum analysis technology, hemodynamics indices are calculated. Changes of these indices correlate with all kinds of cranial blood diseases such as vasoconstriction or vasodilation. This technology has proved to be a very effective way to diagnose cerebral vessel diseases. This method of measurement is particularly useful for examining the major arteries supplying blood to the brain.
